To Forgive And Forget ...

For the many times I have been observing my dogs , I realized that they never hold grudges against me. From all the times that I have accidently stepped on there tails', to what happened today. My mom forgot to take my dog Minnie outside , and She left a suprise for me at home . When I walked in the house , she immidiatly ran under the couch. I knew something was up. When I walked in my room it was a total disaster! My Trash was everywhere , my teddy bear was torn up , and there was fluff everywhere. Out of anger I spanked her and put her in the cage . I felt horrible afterwards . She was starring at me like I was such a bad person. Or atleast thats how I felt. When I let her out she jumped on me and licked my face like if nothing had happened.
Dogs never hold a grudge the way we do sometimes . They forgive and forget and love us to the fullest extent. I called my cousin and forgave him today. I missed him so much and im glad were talking again . I think its important to learn to forgive and let things in the past . Letting go of our grudges can lead to a stronger relationship , and let go of the anger we have inside .Reality is we seek revenge more than forgiveness. Wouldnt it be less stressful to let go of so much hate ? To forgive and forget , just like our pets do.
This is Minnie acting innocent when I first saw what she did .

  1. After putting my dog to sleep I realized how much a pet can mean to you. I regret not giving her all the attention she needed or wanted. When I would come home I would normally push her away but the day we put her to sleep, I realized that she made home feel like home. I had no one to jump up on me and greet me like she did. Dogs deserve love and they will most likely be the only ones who will love us unconditionally.

  2. Am trying to potty train my dogs who are only two years old and I understand how frustrating it might be to clean after them. A tip I learned a while ago said that after a dog has pooped, you should bring the dog to where it pooped and tell the dog that this isn't ok and they will try to comprehend it sooner then later.
