Happy Faces Waiting At Home...

There isn't a day that passes by that my dogs aren't waiting at the door when I get home. There always so happy to see me. They wag their  tails and give me slobbery kisses, so much love that can turn a bad day into a good one. These three Miniature Doxins, (Weiner Dogs as we call them) that make my life whole. Each one has their own distinct personality: the crazy jealous one that wants all the attention and barks at everything: Lola; the calm solitary one that doesn't bark when someone knocks: Minnie; and the sweetest one that follows me everywhere: Lady. Happy faces are always waiting for me at home. All they need to do is speak to be just like us. They love and react to the warmth I give them. My Doxies even get jealous when I'm petting the other. They fight much like when children get jealous of their siblings. However, they treat each other with such gentleness and love. Today when they were play fighting, I noticed they bite softly as if they know their intention is only to play. They help me find a balance in life and make me smile every time I see them. If only humans could be like our loving pets: unconditional. I can look horrible in appearance but they will see me as the most beautiful human being. There's no sense of insecurity to worry about as long as we love them. They communicate through feelings, but our world lives for material things and money.  If we were like dogs, our world would probably be peaceful and embraced with love. There would be no heartbreaks because all that would matter is our feelings toward each other.

  1. I absolutely love this blog. I had a smile on my face with every word I read. The connection between knowledge and art was perfect. You gave descriptions, but tied it into a thoughtful story of these dogs. Great job on this blog, and I'm excited to read more!

  2. Awwwww! I too have wiener dogs and they are really just sweethearts. I love the lesson you took from their kindness, I agree that we could all use a little more. There is truly nothing more purely loving than the relationship of a dog to it's owner, it's a powerful force, and we manage that without even talking, it's miraculous.
